darn we lost

early this day, the PSITS(Philippine Society of Information Technology Student) sportsfest held in UM matina campus. many sports activities was held during this day. there were darts, badminton, basketball and volleyball in which i participated since i am also a part of the schools’ varsity team. the first game was against the UM-matina was good since we took the game with two-straight sets. after that, we watched couple of games of our basketball participants in which i will not going to  discuss (no way, its my blog).so, after that they announce that there will be a game between us and  UM tagum. we remember them since they are the one who won the championship last year because of default. then the game started. we won at the first set by 20-25..at the second set we started to feel tired because of the first  game we play. suddenly the game was put on fire when the score was 16-20. they are the first one to reached the 24 point and my team dont want to give the last remaining point. so we reach to 24-24 score. couple of error was encountered by my team due to pressure. that set was awarded to the other team. so the  third set was started. the  third set started fine but after we reached the 6-6 score, the sudden change of fate occured. the other team keep on scoring and us keep on making errors. we lost by 15-13. many factors has been discussed why we lost the game, 1. no official referee who knows the do’s and dont’s of the game, 2. no practice, 3. slippery floor.but whatever the reason i put in my mind, the final thing is we lost. i was disappointed a bit, but i realized that, not all things can be forseen even if you think your are the best in that field…so darned lost..emoticon

  1. hi there carl…

It’s ok…the ball is round so the game is for everybody. I hope you’ve learned somethings from the mistakes made just this afternoon.

Do not be bittered…hehhehe…Still, we are proud of the team for you have fought a good fight. It takes persistence to reach one goal. Better luck next year for the remaining players.
